Zella M. (Stover) Leonard

Zella M. (Stover) Leonard, age 95, of Endeavor, Pa, died on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Snyder Memorial Healthcare Center in Marienville, Pa.  She was born November 6, 1921 in Townline, Pa (Forest County) on the family farm, daughter of the late Oley M. and Lucy (Gesin) Stover.

She was married to Lawrence E. Leonard who died January 5, 1985.  She was a member of the Endeavor Presbyterian Church and of the Endeavor Ladies VFW Auxiliary in honor of her husband’s service in the military. 

She is survived by her daughter, Connie S. Leonard, of Warren, Pa.  A sister, Carrie Jane Fitzwater of DuBois, Pa.  Several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diann Harper.  Five brothers, Roger, Clifford, Willis, Arthur and Perry Stover.  Two sisters, Evelyn Stover and Inez Brecht.

Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11 AM at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, Pa with Jo-Ann C. Mlakar, pastor of the Word of Grace Full Gospel Fellowship of Tionesta, officiating.  Burial will be next to her husband at Starr Cemetery, Tionesta.
