William J. Metzler, age 68, of West Hickory, PA, formerly of Natrona Heights, PA, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at UPMC Northwest, Seneca, PA. He was born April 8, 1957 in Natrona Heights, son of the late John Paul and Anna (Pinkerton) Metzler. He was married to Katherine “Kit” P. (Marino) Metzler who survives.
Bill retired from UPMC Northwest where he worked in maintenance. He was an accomplished machine assembler for the plastic industry; he most recently assembled the plastic molding machinery for Dragon Plastics in Titusville, PA. He was a gifted artist and loved to draw. He also had a passion for classic cars, and was an avid Steeler fan.
In addition to his wife Kit, surviving are a daughter, Dawn Marie Walker and her husband John Sr., of Natrona Heights. Two sons, Zachary William Metzler and his wife Ashley of Plant City, Florida; Elijah James Metzler also of Plant City. Three grandchildren, John Walker Jr. of Natrona Heights; Jaden Campbell and her husband Seth of Natrona; and Riley Metzler, Plant City. Two brothers, John Paul “Jake” Metzler Jr. and his wife Roberta of Brackenridge, PA; Timothy Alan Metzler. Two sisters, Wendy Ann Marsh and her husband Robert of Tarentum, PA; Tina Marie Metzler of Natrona Heights. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Cheri Lynn Metzler.

UPDATE:: A Funeral Service has been scheduled for Katherine "Kit" and William Metzler to be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11 am at St. James Episcopal Church in Titusville, PA. followed by a luncheon at the fellowship hall of the church. The service will also be live streamed at www.facebook.com/STJamestitusville The family invites all friends and relatives to attend.
