Wiliam E. "Goaty" Grose

  William E. “Goaty” Grose, age 78 of Marienville, PA, died on Monday, March 30, 2015 at his home in Marienville.  He was born September 22, 1936 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late William E. Grose and Florence L. (Slair) Fink.

He was retired from Penn-Dot, Marienville, and then was employed by Forest County Transportation as a driver.  He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army and was a life member of the VFW Post 1424 of Marienville and a member of the Marienville Vets Club.

  Surviving are two sisters; Carol L. Dulaney and her husband Buster of New Freeport, PA,  Kimberly A. Hansbury and her husband Steve of Eighty Four, PA.  Four brothers; Robert Fink of Eighty Four, Dwayne Fink and his wife Sarah of Gastonia, NC, Darrell Fink and his wife Mary of Venetia, PA, Dan Fink and his wife Amy, also of Eighty Four.  Several nieces and nephews.

  In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and James Fink.
