Todd E. Gilbert

    Todd E. Gilbert, age 56, of Tionesta, PA, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.  He was born January 9, 1963 in Titusville, PA, son of the late Norris Eugene and Beverly Ann Gilbert-Lauer. 

    Todd worked as a master electrician at Pennwest Homes in Emlenton, PA.  He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman’s Club in Fryburg, PA.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed riding four wheelers and spending time with his family. 

    Todd is survived by a son, Benjamin Norris Gilbert of Tionesta; a daughter Alisha M. Gilbert also of Tionesta.  Two granddaughters, Dakotah Marie and Jadann Joanah Walter, both of Tionesta.  A brother Lonnie D. Gilbert and his wife Denise of Woodstock, GA.  His stepbrother Robert Lauer of Erie, PA.  Two stepsisters, Karen S. Watson and her husband Michael; and E. Michelle Weeter and her husband Michael all of Oil City, PA.  Several nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert J.  “Pete” Lauer.

   A memorial service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta with Rev. Samuel J. Wagner, associate pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, PA, officiating.  Burial will be in Starr Cemetery, Tionesta.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah Stewart Bovard Memorial Library, P.O.
