Thomas D. Sage

   Thomas D. Sage, age 76, of Tionesta, PA, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his residence in Tionesta.  He was born January 8, 1940 in Tionesta, son of the late Wesley and Elizabeth J. (Allio) Sage. 

   He was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman Club of Fryburg, PA and retired after working many years at Seneca Lawn and Garden in Seneca, PA as a landscaper.  Early on he worked as a welder in Erie, PA. 

   Surviving are two brothers, Richard E. Sage of Conneaut, Ohio; Norman W. Sage of Ashtabula, Ohio.  A sister, Bonnie L. Wells of Oil City, PA.  A sister-in-law, Wendy Sage of Conneaut, Ohio.  Many nieces and nephews. 

   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland “Tex” Sage and James Sage.  A sister is also deceased, Ardys Kerns. 

   There will be no public visitation, all services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
