Theadore W. "Ted" Reese

    Theadore W. “Ted” Reese, age 74, of Tidioute, PA, formerly of West Hickory, PA, died on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2026, at the residence of his son in Tidioute.  He was born March 29, 1952, in Erie, PA, son of the late James M. and Frances L. (Bunce) Reese.

     Ted worked for Oil Creek Plastics in Titusville, PA for many years before retiring.  He was a hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing tennis, as well as spending time outdoors trapping, hunting, and fishing.

     He is survived by his son, Trevis J. Reese and his wife Jennifer of Tidioute; his daughter, Tonya K. Southwick and her significant other Jake Antill of Titusville. Four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is the mother of his children, Francie Reese and her significant other Steve Rainey of Titusville. Two sisters, Faye Taylor and her husband Rodney of Tionesta; Margie Miller of West Hickory. 

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael “Mike” Reese.

     There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private per Ted’s wishes.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
