Terry L. and Patty A. Stupi

   Married couple Terry L. and Patricia A. “Patty” Stupi of Tionesta, PA, died less than twenty four hours apart, both of natural causes.  Terry died on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, and Patty on September 27, 2023, both at their home in Hickory Township, Forest County, PA.   

   Terry was born August 4, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Louis and Dorothy M. (Wagner) Stupi.  Patty was born October 27, 1946, also in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Joseph R. and Rosemary T. (Costello) Kreil.  They were married July 7, 1966 in Pittsburgh.  

   Soon after Terry’s retirement in 1999 from Equitable Gas in Pittsburgh, the couple moved to their family cabin in Tionesta. They loved the Tionesta area.  Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing and one of his hobbies included Gunsmithing.  He and his son Scott created many guns, some were muskets, that included local hardwoods from the Tionesta area.  Patty was raised in Mt. Oliver, PA and was Catholic by faith. 

   The couple raised two sons, Scott P. Stupi who is married to Teresa where the couple lives in Pittsburgh, Pa: and Wes Stupi who sadly died on September 16, 2016.  Terry and Patty missed their son Wes dearly after his passing.

   Scott and Teresa gave the couple two grandchildren, Matthew and Alex Stupi, both of Pittsburgh.  There are three great-grandsons, Paul, Andrew and Wyatt Stupi.   Terry has a sister, Dottie Lou Smith and her husband Joseph W. Smith Jr, of Pittsburgh.  Patty has a brother also from Pittsburgh, Joseph Kreil.  They have many nieces and nephews including Judy L. Mutschler, Pittsburgh. 

   In addition to both of their parents and their son Wes, Patty is preceded in death by a sister, Carol Rowsick. 

   There will no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J.
