Susan E. (Sites) Lewis, age 63, of Tidioute, PA, daughter of the late Guy and Greta (Rosequist) Sites, began her earthly journey on December 27, 1961, in Warren, PA. She began her heavenly journey on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was a 1979 graduate of Tidioute High School where she enjoyed playing volleyball. On August 20, 1988, at the Tidioute First Presbyterian Church, she married Scott A. Lewis, who survives. Susan began her work career at Philips Lighting in Warren, moved on to Osram Sylvania, IMT, the Blair Distribution Center, then on to the Warren State Hospital, where she then retired. She was a dedicated member of the Tidioute First Presbyterian Church and was a former member of the Presbyterian Session. She was a founding member of the Tidioute Community Charter School and was active on the S.O.S. (Save Our School) Committee.
Susan enjoyed special trips to her family’s farm in Seneca Rocks, WV, to see family as often as life allowed. She loved spending summers gardening and relaxing in her pool. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was her most prized possession.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and a daughter: Josh Lewis and his wife Erica of Irvona, PA; Curtis Lewis and his wife Danielle of Tidioute; and Sasha Carroll and her husband Dalaun, also of Tidioute. Three grandchildren: Laci May Daniel of Tyrone, PA, Hayden Michael Fuller of Tidioute, and Hunter Scott Lewis of Tidioute... and another greatly anticipated grandson on the way, Britton Edward-Sites Carroll. Three sisters: Vicki McLaughlin and her husband Patrick of Tidioute, Dana Sites of Tidioute, and Amy Sites of New Hampshire. Numerous cherished nieces and nephews and so many special friends.
Friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 11 A.M. at the Swedish Union Cemetery 1081 Swede Road Tidioute, PA, 16351 with Pastor Dennis Ledebur of the Tidioute First Presbyterian Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tidioute Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund P.O. Box 144 Tidioute, PA 16351, or to the Tidioute Community Charter School Endowment Fund 241 Main St Tidioute, PA 16351.
