Shawn R. (Licht) Jordan

     Shawn R. (Licht) Jordan, age 51, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Gloucester, VA, left this earthly existence to be with the Lord on Monday morning, March 18, 2024, at her home in Tionesta.  She was born in Alamogordo, NM, on October 20, 1972.

     Shawn graduated from Gloucester High School in Gloucester, VA in the class of 1991.  She worked at Rose’s Department Store in her hometown.  On September 28, 2001, in Mathews, VA, she married Scottie E. Jordan, who survives.  She loved her family and friends, especially her many nieces and nephews. She also had a great heart for her pets and animals and loved to share her cooking expertise.

     In addition to her husband, she is survived by her father and stepmother, Larry J. and Kathy C. Licht of Titusville, PA.  Her mother, Nancy Nichols in Oklahoma.  Her daughter, Taylor R. Stiles and her husband Avery of Portsmouth, VA.  Her son, Dalles E. Jordan, at home in Tionesta.  Her brother, Nathaniel F. Licht of Titusville.  Her sister, Jinnifer Thornton, in Oklahoma.  Her in-laws, Rosa and Gene Squires of Gloucester, VA.  Several brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

     There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.  Memorial contributions may be made to your local humane society.
