Samuel Javonovich, Jr.

     Samuel “Butch” “Sammie J” Javonovich, Jr., age 69, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Independence Township, Beaver County, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his residence in Tionesta.  He was born August 5, 1951 in Aliquippa, PA, son of the late Samuel Javonovich, Sr., and the late Edith (Alexander) Javonovich.
     Samuel served as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He worked installing and repairing machinery in the steel making industry.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Javonovich, and by his sisters, Kay Poling and Janice Knight.
     Samuel will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace Butch.
    There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
