Ruth E. Worley Obituary

   Ruth E. (Schneiderlochner) Worley 79, of Tionesta, Pa, devoted wife of Charles E. Worley, died peacefully in her home Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born April 26, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pa to late parents Robert and Elizabeth (Miller) Schneider.
   She grew up on Pittsburgh’s North Side, the youngest of six children. She married Chuck and moved from the hustle and bustle of the city to Tionesta and spent the next 35 years of her life committed to her husband, enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. She loved gardening, baking, wine making, crafts and spending time cooking country style meals. Her greatest joy was to see friends and family enjoy the natural gifts she and Chuck created from scratch in their mountain home.
   She is survived by her children, Sandy (John) Murphy, Harry (Barb) Grosse, Sharon Grosse, and James Grosse; step-children Charles (Alicia) Worley Jr and Eileen (Chris) Barnes; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; sister of Marge (Alfred) Camus and Betty Lou (Ken) Young and the late William Schneiderlochner, Robert Schneiderlochner and Alice McMurray.
   There will be no public visitation, a memorial service will be held at a later point in time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
