Ronald Beach

    Ronald Beach, age 85, of West Hickory, PA, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. He was born January 4, 1941, in Titusville, son of the late Fred and Fannie (Wilson) Beach.

     On May 9, 1959, in Fertigs, PA, he married Barbara V. (Hile) Beach, who preceded him in death on September 21, 2025. He worked at Endeavor Lumber Company and later at Cyclops/Cytemp Specialty Steel until his retirement. He faithfully served his community for many years as a Harmony Township Supervisor/Roadmaster. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and especially treasured his time spent camping, fishing, and boating at Tionesta Dam. He also treasured spending time with his family. 

     He is survived by two sons: Derrick D. Beach and his wife Karla, and Robert S. Beach, all of West Hickory. His daughter-in-law, Cathy Beach, also of West Hickory. Sixteen grandchildren, including three of whom he and Barb raised: Beau Beach of Erie, PA, Ashleigh Kinkead and her husband Cody of Latrobe, PA, and Erin Carlin of Altoona, PA. Twenty-three great-grandchildren. His brother, Daniel Beach and his significant other Rich Hippel of Titusville. His sister-in-law, Bonnie J. Potts, of West Hickory, and brother-in-law, Charles Vargason of Titusville. Several nieces and nephews. His special caregiver, Amy Dashner.

     In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons: Ronald B. Beach and Ryan “Burke” Beach. His grandson, Joshua Kuntz. His brother, Richard Beach.  His sister, Patricia Vargason.  His brother-in-law, Louis Potts.  His niece, Louanne Potts.

          There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private. Burial will be alongside his wife at Fagundas Cemetery in Harmony Township, Forest County. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tionesta Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 157, Tionesta, PA 16353.
