Robert E. “Bobby” Tudor, age 77, of Titusville, PA, died on Monday morning, February 15, 2021 at his home in Titusville. He was born February 20, 1943 in Oil City, PA, son of the late Rubert “TJ” and Lilly (Stone) Tudor.
On July 8, 1964 in Sebastian, FL, he married his wife of 56 years, Joanne R. (Dunkle) Tudor, who survives. A welder by trade, Bobby worked on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and was a former member of the Pipeliners Union Local 798 in Tusla, OK. He began working at age 12 at the Plumer Garage. He enjoyed engine building, building and racing Sprint Cars, and was a seven-time champion in truck pulling competitions.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jim R. Tudor of Titusville. One daughter, Amber R. Young and her husband Doug of Grand Valley, PA. Two grandsons, Trae M. and Ean M. Tudor, both of Titusville. One brother, Jimmy Stone Tudor and his wife Beverly of Butler, PA. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Kaminske.
There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 389, Tionesta, PA 16353 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
