Richard Lee Neugebauer, Sr., age 75, of Neilltown, PA, formerly of Clinton, PA, died on Thursday afternoon, April 2, 2020, at his home. He was born in Sewickley, PA on November 13, 1944, son of the late Louis Joseph and Della (Gray) Neugebauer.
Richard graduated from West Allegheny High School in Imperial, PA. In West Virginia on November 30, 1963, he married his wife of 56 years, Amber Lee (Hall) Neugebauer, who survives. Richard worked as a carpenter, concrete finisher, and foreman in the heavy construction industry in the Pittsburgh area for many years before retiring to Forest County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter: Ronald L. Neugebauer of West Hickory, PA, Samuel L. Neugebauer and his wife Terri L. of Georgetown, PA, and Tammy L. Holland of Neilltown. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Two brothers: Robert Neugebauer and his wife Nita and William Neugebauer and his wife Marlene, all of Moon Township, PA. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard L. Neugebauer, Jr., on April 6, 2018. Two brothers are also deceased, John and Donald Neugebauer, as well as his sister, Mary Ingram.
There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, PA.
