Richard A. "Dick" Rugh

  Richard A. “Dick” Rugh, age 84 of Tionesta, PA (President Twp., Venango County), died on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.  He was born June 8, 1932 in Aliquippa, PA, son of the late William J. and Marie (Anderson) Rugh. 

  On September 20, 1975 in New Castle, PA he married Clara M. (Bridge) Rugh who survives.  He retired in 1985 from Babcock & Wilcox of Koppel, PA where he was employed as a millwright.  He served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  Dick loved to hunt and fish and loved the Tionesta area.

  In addition to his wife Clara he is survived by three sons, Fred A. Rugh and his wife Kathy of Oil City, PA; James L. Bridge and his wife Tina of Wampum, PA; Stanley C. Rozanski and his wife Sally of Cranberry, PA.  Four daughters, Cyndi R. Vogel and her husband George of Ellwood City, PA; Rosena C. Amsler and her husband Richard Jr. of Texas.  Helena J. Patton and her husband Rick of Ellwood City; Elizabeth A. Rugh and her companion Russ Krut of Tionesta.  Thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.  Several nieces and nephews. 

  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery Rugh and John G. Rozanski Jr; a grandson, Brian J. Rozanski; a brother William J. Rugh; a sister Ann Moczan.

  Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.  A blessing service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry, PA where full military rights will be accorded.
