Regis R. Bereksazi

     Regis R. Bereksazi, age 75, of West Hickory, PA, died on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.   He was born September 29, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Stephen R. and Anna (Beley) Bereksazi. 

     On June 19, 1969 in Pittsburgh he married Sharon L. (Wagner) Bereksazi.  Regis was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force.  His favorite pastime was watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play football and the Pittsburgh Penguins play hockey.

     Surviving are two sons, Christopher R. Bereksazi and his wife Rachel of West Hickory and Greg L. Bereksazi of North Carolina.  Four grandchildren: Sophia Bereksazi of West Hickory; Devon Bereksazi and his wife Nikki of Warren, PA; Garrett Bereksazi and his wife Ashley of Daytona, FL; and Taylore Bereksazi also of Daytona.  One great-grandson, Tytan Hudson.  One brother, Steve Bereksazi of Pleasantville, PA.  Two sisters, Marcy Zary of Florida and Patricia Fazio of Pittsburgh.  Several nieces and nephews.  

     In addition to his parents and wife, Regis was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey L. Bereksazi who died July 25, 2003. 

     There will be no public visitation, all services held will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.  Messages of sympathy may be left below or find us on Facebook.
