UPDATE — A picnic-style party to celebrate Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5 – 8 PM, at the Forest County 4-H Center, 170 4-H Road, Tionesta, PA 16353. The obituary below has been updated with the complete details.

     Patricia L. Wolbert, age 74, of Tionesta, PA, died on Friday, August 28, 2026, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.  She was born October 4, 1951, in Oil City, PA., daughter of the late Julian J. and Maxine L. (Loux) Mast. 

     On June 27, 1970, at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Tionesta she married Donald J. Wolbert Jr., who died November 26, 2018.  She graduated in 1970 from West Forest High School in Tionesta.  She owned and operated Tionesta Propane until she retired.  Pat had a love of horses and was very active with Forest County 4-H as the Leader of the Roaming Riders 4-H Club for many years along with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. 

     Surviving are a son, D.J. Wolbert III and his wife Wendy Ann of New Tripoli, PA.  A daughter, Cheri L. Switzer and her husband Nathan of Tionesta.  Five grandchildren; Reece Wolbert of New Tripoli; Nicholas Johnson of Claysville; Brandon Switzer of Knox, PA; Brodi Switzer and his wife Ashley of Winston Salem, North Carolina; Colby Whitehill of Knox. Two great-grandchildren, Gaven Boylan of Knox, PA; Taylor Switzer of Winston Salem, NC.  One brother, Robert J. Mast and his wife Lynne of Tionesta.  One sister, Debbie M. Stark and her husband Kenneth of Mill Hall, PA. Several nieces and nephews.  Three brothers-in-law and seven sisters-in-law, who were more like brothers and sisters than in-laws. 

     Also surviving is Pat’s companion, Donald O’Neil.  Don’s family became a special part of Pat’s life. 

     There will be no public visitation.   A picnic-style party to celebrate Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5 – 8 PM, at the Forest County 4-H Center, 170 4-H Road, Tionesta, PA 16353.  The family requests that you please bring a lawn chair and your favorite memory or story of mom.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J.
