Nikki Main

     Nikki Main, age 79, of West Hickory, PA, formerly of Ellwood City, PA, died on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Titusville Area Hospital in Titusville, PA.  She was born August 21, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Gus and Erene (Markakis) Eliou. 
     On January 19, 1983, in Ellwood City, she married Woodrow D. “Woody” Main, Jr., who survives.  The couple would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary next month.  Nikki attended the West Hickory United Methodist Church.  She admired so much the Forest County area and loved calling this place her home.  She enjoyed watching the eagles fly up and down the river, and the deer and bear in her yard.
     In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, John P. Vassilaros and his wife Karla of Springfield, MO.  Four stepchildren: John Main and his wife Cynde of Hershey, PA; Woodrow D. Main III and his wife Robin of Elizabeth, PA; Joseph Main and his wife Heather of New Brighton, PA; and Wendy Kryder and her husband Dan, also of New Brighton.  Sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  One sister, Andy Hanna of West Hickory.  Several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Constantine Vassilaros, whose wife, Sherry, survives.  One brother, Kimon Eliou.  One sister, Esmine Hornok. 
     There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta.
