Loretta L. Harvey, age 90, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Anaheim, California, died on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Country Acres Personal Care Home in Titusville, PA. She was born March 19, 1934, in Brownsville, PA, daughter of the late David and L. Maxine (Coombs) Lane.
In 1952, in Tionesta, she married David H. Harvey, who died October 23, 2000. She was a devoted member of the Tionesta United Methodist Church where she volunteered with the Lamb of God mission. Locally, she also volunteered with the Tionesta Public Library and the Mt. Collins Cemetery Association. While living in Anaheim she loved to bowl, play volleyball, relax and swim around a pool, and enjoyed attending concerts at the Hollywood Bowl (amphitheater) in Los Angeles County, California. Loretta retired from the City of Anaheim where she worked as a Human Resource Analyst. She had a degree in Business Administration and received her Certification in H.R. from the University of California, Irvine. She spent a lot of her free time reading and doing embroidery.
She is survived by a daughter, Christy H. Krausman and her husband Charles of Fullerton, California. Two grandchildren, David E. Krausman and his husband Joey of Irvine, California. Julia L. Krausman and her companion Juan Escalante, also of Fullerton. A great-grandson, Jaxson J. Escalante.
Locally to the Tionesta area, there are two nieces and a nephew: Carol Miller, Theresa Waddell, and David Lauer, along with other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy M. Lauer.
Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 11 A.M. at the Tionesta United Methodist Church with Pastor David DeGroff officiating. A private burial took place at Mt. Collins Cemetery, Tionesta. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
