Loretta H. (Sosinski) Gess

               Loretta H. Gess, age 72, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Natrona, PA and Leechburg, PA, died on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home in Tionesta.  She was born in Natrona on December 6, 1945, daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Krasinski) Sosinski. 

               She married her late husband of 45 years, Clifford A. “Arlie” Gess, Jr., in New Kensington, PA on February 10, 1972.  He preceded her in death on April 28, 2017.  Loretta worked as an X-ray Technician at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh until her retirement.  She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed country living.

               She is survived by her brother, John A. Sosinski and his wife Beth of Lower Burrell, PA.  Two sisters, Marcella E. Novak of Lower Burrell, and Clara M. Sosinski of Natrona.  Several nieces and nephews.  Her beloved canine companions, Holly and Cocoa.

               In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Sosinski, and her sister, Dorothy Sosinski.

               There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
