Lawrence D. “Burger” Lineberger, age 51, of Ridgway, PA, died on Monday, July 2, 2018. He was born in Toledo, OH on June 26, 1967, son of Lawrence L. Lineberger of Edgerton, OH and the late Maria E. (Popielski) Brittian, who died August 29, 2017.
He was employed by Advantage Metal Powders, Inc. in Ridgway and was an active member of VFW Post 5887 and American Legion Post 208. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his five children: Hollie Head and her husband Jon Dingus of Duffield, VA, Hunter Sulfridge and his wife Shawnee of Williamsburg, KY, and Joshua, Abby, and Georgia Lineberger, all of Ridgway. His brother, Wayne Lineberger and his wife Paula of Ridgway. His sister, Lynda Gangloff of Johnsonburg, PA. Four grandchildren. Six nieces and nephews: Miranda Gardner and her husband Jody, Isaac Wehler, Casey Morgan, and David, Danny, and Leah Lineberger.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his mother, by his sister, CW2 Charlie Morgan, and his brother, Daniel Lineberger.
No public visitation is planned. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 P.M. on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at American Legion Post 208, 330 Main Street, Ridgway, PA 15853. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, PA.
