Kenda L. McWilliams, age 60, of Tidioute, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, March 11, 2021 at home, after a short illness. She was born September 22, 1960 in Titusville, PA, daughter of the late Kenneth and Marjorie (Schall) McWilliams.
She worked many years at Evan’s Market in Tidioute until its closure and more recently worked at Walmart.
Kenda was a graduate of West Forest High School, enjoyed gardening, watching wildlife, and spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Maureen L. Blackman and her husband Travis of Erie, PA. and Melissa J. Benson and her husband Ron of Sugar Grove, PA. Her special friend, Tom DiMattio. Seven grandchildren: Dillon, Callie Marie, Callie Nicole, Grace, Shane, Corey, and Aubrie. Three brothers: Randy McWilliams, Ricky McWilliams, and Michael McWilliams. Three Sisters: Rita Bober, Sandra Wolford, and Deborah Peightal. Several nieces and nephews.
In additional to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paula Ruth, and her beloved dog, Sanchez.
All services held were private with Rev. Samuel J. Wagner, associated Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, PA, officiating. Burial was at Wolf’s Corners Cemetery, Tionesta. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral home of Tionesta. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 389, Tionesta, PA 16353 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
