Judith T. “Judy” Klinestiver, age 79, of Tidioute, PA, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, September 24, 2023, at Titusville Area Hospital in Titusville, PA. She was born December 7, 1943 in Bethesda, MD, daughter of the late Paul LeRoy and Jane Willette (Hynson) Thomas.
Judy graduated from Tidioute High School in 1961, and was active in many different clubs and was a cheerleader.
On April 4, 1975 at Tidioute United Methodist Church, she married Vern Klinestiver. Judy worked as a teller for PNC Bank, then Northwest Bank, in Tidioute for many years. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader in Tidioute and also wrote the Tidioute News column for the Warren Times Observer. She enjoyed collecting depression glass, glass paper weights, and rosary beads, as well as taking care of her plants. She also loved collecting Little League pins. Judy loved to cane chairs and make colorful rugs on her loom. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters: Audra Niles of Warren, PA; Traci D. Duncan of Muncy, PA; Angela Schott and her husband Jason of Warren; and Bailey Kellermann and her husband Paul of Julian, PA and their friend Anya Olsavicky. Three grandchildren: Evan Duncan and his fiancé Sonja Maclees, Owen Schott, and Addison Schott, all of Warren. Two great grandchildren, Declan and Evabelle. Her brother, Jerry Thomas of Summerville, SC. Her sister, Janie Weston of Wallkill, NY. Many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Paul Thomas.
There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
