Joann T. Kilgore

   Joann T. Kilgore, age 78, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of West Chester, PA, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.  She was born February 27, 1946 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Alexander and Emilia (Agostini) Peidl. 

   On September 23, 1963 she married her husband of 61 years, Charles R. Kilgore III.  Together they owned and operated Water Management by Kilgore in West Chester, PA along with the family farm outside Coatesville, PA.  

   Joann was a member of Brandywine Grange #60 in Chester County, PA.  She loved quilting, enjoyed canning her own farm raised food, and giving tours to visiting families and children.

   Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Guy V. Kilgore and wife Sandra of West Chester, Robert A. Kilgore of Tionesta, and her daughter, Pereice M. Kilgore and her partner Ross Stacey of Coatesville, PA.  Two granddaughters, Alexandra and Nikalina, both of West Chester.  Four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.   

   She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James and Alex Peidl.

   There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J.
