Howard J. “Slim” Schill, age 71, of Tionesta, PA, died on Tuesday morning, September 23, 2025, at LECOM at Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville, PA. He was born December 18, 1953, in Brookville, PA, son of the late Thomas A. and Lois E. (Reitz) Schill.
Howard worked for Clarion Bathware for over 30 years, retiring in 2020. He loved the outdoors – fishing, hunting, and gardening – and was proud to be with several grandsons when they got their first deer. He also took a memorable bear hunting trip to Canada. He enjoyed working on projects around his home.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori L. Schill of Pittsburgh. Five grandsons: Zachary Likens, Alec Likens, Nathan Likens, Korbin Schill, and Brian Schill. His brother, Butch Reitz and his wife Judy of Lucinda, PA. His sister-in-law Debra Schill of Lucinda. Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Robin (Schill-Hunter) Slaugenhaupt. His son, Brian Schill. Two brothers, Thomas and David Schill. His sister, Barbara Stumpner, along with her husband Clint. His nephew, David Schill.
There will be no public visitation. All services held will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
