Eugene C. "Geno" McCarthy

   Eugene C. “Geno” McCarthy III, age 66, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pgh, PA.  He was born February 10, 1950 in Toledo, son of the late Eugene C. McCarthy Jr and Ilene (Mason) McCarthy. 

   He was a retired Electrician working from Toledo Electrical Local #8.  He was an avid deer hunter and also enjoyed carpentry, riding ATV’s, playing Dominoes and spending time with his family and friends. 

   Survived by his wife, Mickey L. (Young) McCarthy of Tionesta. 

   A son, Daniel McCarthy and his wife Jennifer.  A daughter, Erin McCarthy. A step-daughter, Shawnia Stevens.  Two grandsons, Jackson and Walker McCarthy.  Five step-grandchildren Robert, Joshua, Zachary, Marissa and Alexander Bennett…everyone from Toledo.

   Three sisters, Theresa Lause and her husband Anthony of Missouri; Deborah Noward and her husband Dennis of Toledo; Cynthia Edmonds and her husband Craig of Virginia. 

   Several nieces and nephews. 

   There will be no public visitation.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
