Dotty L. Shreve

     Dotty L. Shreve, age 73, of Pleasantville, PA, died on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her home in Pleasantville.  She was born January 15, 1950 in Tionesta, daughter of William Wilson and Anna (Brecht) Berlin. 
     On October 4, 1969 in Tionesta she married Roger E. “Butch” “Yogi” Shreve who survives.  Dotty retired from SCI Forest where she worked in the administration office with the clerical staff.  She also previously worked at Blair in Irvine, PA in the packaging department.  She was a driver for the Forest County Transportation Department.   Dotty enjoyed hunting and canning. 
     Surviving are her grandson, Devon McAlpine and his wife Leann of Blairsville, PA.  A granddaughter, Katrina Shearer and her fiancé Matthew Stripling of Apollo, PA.  Two great-grandchildren, Aubree and Ayden McAlpine.   Two nieces along with the very best of friends and neighbors including the Allios, the Nichols, the Gibsons, the O’Connors, the Wolfs, the Prestos, and the Hanelys. 
     Dotty and Roger sadly lost their only two children, Quinn Shreve on March 10, 2022, and Krista Shearer on November 23, 2021.
     There will no public visitation, all services held will be private.   The Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta is in charge of the arrangements.  Burial will be at Kiffer Hill Cemetery in Tionesta.
