Donald E. Wagner

   Donald E. Wagner, age 76, of Tionesta, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 18, 2015 at his home in Tionesta surrounded by his family.  He was born July 4, 1939 in Tionesta, son of the late Harry S. and Hazel I. (Bower) Wagner. 

   On June 22, 1963 in Oil City, PA he married Linda Lee (Thompson) Wagner who preceded him in death November 29, 2012. 

   He was a lifelong Dairy Farmer and owned and operated Deer Ridge Dairy Farm in the Red Brush area of Tionesta, Forest County.  While in school, Don belonged to the Future Farmers of America Club.  He enjoyed going to antique tractor pulls, farm shows and local fairs.  He also loved to square dance.  Don drove school bus since 1979 for the Forest Area School District.  He attended the Tionesta Church of God.

   He is survived by two sons, Rick J. Wagner and his wife Mary; Robert E. Wagner and his wife Linda; and two daughters, Kimberly K. Kelly and her husband Patrick; Kathryn A. Cramer and her husband Richard, all of Tionesta.  Don is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, two sisters; Virginia Motzer of Clarion and Wilma Tannler of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. 

   In addition to his wife Linda and parents, he was preceded in death by two grandsons; Joshua Barnes and Iven Wagner and a brother; Richard Dale Wagner. 

   Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9.  Friends will then be received on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10 am to 11 am at the Tionesta Church of God followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 am with Pastor Terry E. McGarrity officiating.  Co-officiating will be Rev. Randy L. Evans, Clarion/Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain.  Burial at Venus Cemetery, Venus, PA.
