David Walter Baier

   David Walter Baier, age 66, of Shaler Twp., Allegheny County, died July 13, 2021 with his cute terrier Max at his side. He was born Sept. 1, 1954 in Wilkinsburg, PA. Beloved son of Walter James Baier and Evelyn Anna (Jocz) Baier.

   David was a caregiver and assistant for his beloved Grandmother Anna (Fotta) Jocz. A Fox Chapel H.S. grad Class of 1973, David became a Certified Electrical Engineer and tenured employee for Hobart Inc. David was an avid ham radio and computer tech hobbyist. He created and sold stained glass windows too. He also loved boating, fishing and gardening in Tionesta and collecting vintage anything. David owned a seasonal home and a seasonal retail business in Tionesta, PA, "Old Curiosity Shop".

   His family made private arrangements via Worrell/Slater Cremation Services, Sharpsburg, and the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.  Laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta.
