Danny Lee Cole

Danny Lee Cole, age 61, of Corry, PA, died on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence in Corry.  He was born March 10, 1956 in Trenton, New Jersey, son of the late George L. and Elizabeth (White) “Betty” Cole.  

Danny’s favorite pastime was music and loved to play any string instrument.  He had a passion for guitars, and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He was employed by Corry Contract Corp since 2004 and was two months from retiring.  He was married to Evelyn (Vanderhoff) Cole, who died November 17, 2013. 

Surviving are a brother, Robert M. Shaw and his wife Linda of Cresswell, Oregon.  Two sisters, Carol A. Krick and her husband Chuck of Jacksonville, North Carolina; Deb E. Davis and her husband John of Tionesta.  Several nieces and nephews.  An uncle survives, Francis White of Celeron, NY.  A sister-in-law, Chungling “Maggie” Wong of Pleasantville, PA. 

In addition to his wife parents Danny was preceded in death by a brother, Bill A. Cole, Sr.

There will be no public visitation; a public celebration of life will be announced at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
