On September 14, 2024, the angels arrived at the Kinzua Healthcare Center in Warren, PA, and carried Connie Sue Leonard to her heavenly home. She was formerly from Endeavor and was a resident of Warren for many years. She was born at what was then known as the Bashline Hospital between Pleasantville and Titusville, PA, the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Zella Mae (Stover) Leonard.
Despite her physical difficulties, Connie lived her 73 years on this earth to the fullest. She loved to travel and enjoyed as many trips and activities as she could convince her caregivers to arrange. She was an inspiration to all who ever loved her. Recognition of thankfulness and a deep appreciation is deserving of the many who cared for her over the years.
She is survived by one aunt, Carrie Jane Fitzwater of DuBois, PA, and many many cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Diann Lee Harper, who passed away on May 15, 1995.
Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 10 AM until 11 AM, at which time a funeral service will be offered by Lay Pastor Roger Snyder of the Endeavor Presbyterian Church of Endeavor, PA. Burial at Starr Cemetery in Tionesta next to her parents and sister..
