Clinton M. Walters, age 78, of Tionesta, formerly of Charleroi, PA, died on Friday, November 8, 2024 at his home in Tionesta. He was born March 12, 1946 in Monongahela, PA.
Clint is married to Teri A. (Farland) Walters and together the couple founded “Safehaven Small Breed Rescue” in Tionesta. The operation continues in Norway, South Carolina. He served during the Vietnam Era in the US Marines, worked as a Coal Miner in Southwestern Pennsylvania, and as a Dog Enforcement Officer. The couple also previously owned Walt’s Pets in Ambridge, PA.
In addition to his wife Clint is survived by a longtime best friend, David McClain and his wife Lori of Gibsonia, PA.
Clint was preceded in death by a brother.
There will be no public visitation, all services held will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
