Charles R. "Chuck" Bloomer

   Charles R. “Chuck” Bloomer SR, age 69, of Tionesta, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, died on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his home in Tionesta.  He was born February 28, 1954 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edward J. (SR) and Marion E. (Yeckel) Bloomer.     

   Chuck retired from Praxair who he drove truck for out of Pittsburgh.  He loved animals, especially his canine friend, Jake.

   He is survived by a son, Charles R. Bloomer JR of Millvale, PA.  Two daughters, Jessica L. Young of Tionesta, and Nicole M. Bloomer, also of Millvale.  There are two grandchildren, Kelsey E. Young of Tionesta, and Skylar M. Szymanski of Millvale.  Three sisters, Eva Boyd and her husband Len of Butler; Donna Harvey and her husband Chuck of Bellevue, PA; Linda Bloomer, also of Butler.  Several nieces and nephews.     

   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward J. Bloomer JR. Robert C. Bloomer, and Raymond J. Bloomer.  One grandson is also deceased, Ryan Young.
