B. Jane Flick Obituary

     B. Jane Flick, age 88, of Tionesta, PA, died on Friday, September 18, 2026, at her home in Tionesta.  She was born May 11, 1938, in Titusville, PA, daughter of the late Leo S. and Martha (Ross) Williams.

Jane was a 1956 graduate of West Forest High School in Tionesta, after attending West Hickory Elementary School and East Hickory High School. On June 29, 1957, at the Tionesta United Methodist Church, she married Virgil L. “Skip” Flick, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2026.  She devoted much of her working life to public service, beginning in 1965 as deputy to Virginia Felton in the offices of Prothonotary, Clerk of Courts, Recorder of Deeds and Register of Wills.  In 1983, she was elected to those offices and served for 16 years, retiring in 2000 after 34 years of service.  She then worked as Court Tip Staff for another 19 years, until 2019.  Jane also worked for New Process, later Blair, for nine years; served as a Domestic Relations Officer for 15 years; was the Tionesta Borough Tax Collector from 1974 to 1982; and served as Republican Party Treasurer from 1987 to 1999.  She was active in her community as past president of the Tionesta Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary, past secretary of the Tionesta Community Association, a participant in the Tionesta Indian Festival, and a member of the Forest/Warren Economic Opportunity Council Board for Forest and Warren Counties.  She was also an active member of the Tionesta United Methodist Church and its choir.

During her school years, Jane enjoyed basketball, cheerleading and marching band, where she was a majorette.  As an adult, she especially enjoyed bowling, golf, trips to the casino, playing dominoes and 500 Bid, camping with family and friends, fishing trips to Canada, and wiener roasts with her Ohio friends.  Most of all, she treasured time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly J. Perrett and her husband David of Tionesta; her granddaughter, Danielle Hoffman and her husband Brandon of Tionesta; her grandson, Dustin “Bud” Perrett of Tionesta; two bonus grandchildren: Alex Smail and his wife, Shannon, of Texas, and their children Reece and Abigail, and Nic Smail and his wife, Taylor, of Wasilla, AK, and their daughter Gwen; and two great grandchildren, Colton Charles Whitton and Eleanor Jay Hoffman, both of Tionesta.  She is also survived by two brothers, Leo “Jack” Williams of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jim Williams and his wife Maria of Weatherford, OK; her brother-in-law, Donald A. Flick and his wife, Shirley, of Beaver Falls, PA; and her sister-in-law, Laura Flick of Tionesta; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janet L. Nixon.

Friends will be received from 1 PM until 4 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta, where funeral services will follow at 4 PM with Pastor David DeGroff, her pastor of the Tionesta United Methodist Church, officiating.  A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow at the Tionesta United Methodist Church.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Tionesta.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Tionesta United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, P.O.
