Alice M. Wilson

   Alice M. Wilson, age 90, of Tionesta, PA, died on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her home in Tionesta, Kellettville, Forest County.  She was born May 22, 1925 in Kellettville, daughter of the late Plummer W. and Julia (Silzle) Wilson. 

   Alice was a long time member of the Forest County Historical Society.  She worked as a “Poll Worker of Elections” for Kingsley Township, and as a cook at the Flying W. Ranch in Kellettville for many years.   She was instrumental in keeping the Kellettville Old Home Days active; a tribute to those families who were displaced by the Tionesta Dam Corps of Engineers Project.  Alice was a Christian.

     She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, including a special niece Becky Pillsbury and her daughter Elissa King, both who resided with Alice and offered her care. 

   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Harold, Howard, Wayne and Judson Wilson; three sisters, Avonelle Wilson, Arlene Lightner and Mary Shirley. 

   There will be no public visitation or services.  Burial will be alongside her brother Jud at Venus Cemetery, Venus, PA.  

   Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Forest County Historical Society PO Box 546 Tionesta, PA 16353.  The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Warren Dialysis Center and to Forest County Transportation for making Alice’s life more comfortable.
