Stanley R. "Ray" Collins, Jr.

Stanley R. “Ray” Collins, age 80, of Tionesta, PA, died on Sunday morning, November 5, 2017 at Mt. Hope Home #6 in Titusville, PA.  He was born in Titusville on April 18, 1937, son of the late Stanley R. Collins, Sr., and Edna C. (Hoovler) Collins.

He worked at the former Kaputa Chevrolet in Tionesta and Endeavor Lumber Company in Endeavor, PA before retiring from Vertical Seal Company in Neilltown, PA.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family at Canadohta Lake.

Stanley is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Evie C. Porta and her husband John, of Tionesta, E. Haskell Collins and his wife Grace, of Tionesta, Ralph A. Collins and his wife Sandi of Clinton, TN, and Fran A. Wimer and her husband George of Tidioute, PA.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Donald K. Garrison.

Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6 – 8 P.M.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Samuel J. Wagner, Associate Pastor of Christ United Methodist Church in Franklin, PA officiating.  Burial will take place at the Neilltown Cemetery.
