Sandra M. McClellan

Sandra M. McClellan, age 80, of Meadville, PA, formerly of President Township (Venango County), PA, died on Wednesday morning, August 15, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Community in Meadville. She was born in Montgomery, PA on March 11, 1938, daughter of the late Joseph M. and Anna E. (Harman) Myers.

Sandra earned her BA from Nyack College in Nyack, NY and attended nursing school in Oak Park, IL, where she earned her RN.  She worked as a caseworker and later a caseworker supervisor at Venango County Mental Health until her retirement.  She was a member of the Tionesta Alliance Church, Tionesta, PA. 

She married her late husband of 44 years, John Charles McClellan, on October 2, 1965.  He preceded her in death on April 26, 2010. 

Sandra is survived by her brother, Joseph O. Myers of Allenwood, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2-4 P.M.  Additional visitation will be held at Tionesta Alliance Church, 1734 Route 36, Tionesta, PA on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 10-11 A.M., at which time services will be held with Rev. James R. Evilsizor and Rev. Jerry Ester officiating.  Burial will be beside her husband in Venus Cemetery, Venus, PA.
