Kyle E. Snell

    Kyle E. Snell, age 53, of Oil City, PA, formerly of West Hickory, PA, died on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in President Twp., Venango County, PA.  He was born May 28, 1966 in Oil City, son of Patricia L. (Chappel) Snell who survives in Fresno, TX, formerly of Tionesta, PA, and the late Fred L. Snell, Sr.

    Kyle was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He proudly served in the United States Coast Guard from 1986-89.  He was an avid hunter and loved spending time in the woods.  He was also a loyal Cleveland Browns fan.  He and his family were hardworking laborers in the timber industry.  He was an artist in his craft and built many beautiful log homes in the area.  He was presently employed in the maintenance department at Green Line Polymers in Shippenville, PA. 

    In addition to his mother, Pat, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Snell of Neilltown, PA , and her fiancé Jacob Kennedy.  His son, Dylon Snell of West Hickory.  His granddaughter, Adeline Kennedy of Neilltown.  Two brothers: Fred Snell and his wife Connie of Franklin, PA; Ted Snell and his wife Shellie of Canton, GA.  Two sisters: Debbie Houck and her husband Jeff of Port Charlotte, FL and Kerri Larson and her husband Brian of Fresno, TX.  Several nieces and nephews.  His fiancée, Sherrie Winger of Oil City.

    In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ed Snell, and his beloved hunting dog Chloe. 

    There will be no public visitation.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 2 P.M. at the Harmony Township Community Center, 95 Center St, West Hickory, PA 16370.
