Kirk Wayne Kessler

UPDATE: Friends are welcome to attend graveside services for Kirk Wayne Kessler will be held at North Forest Cemetery, Marienville, PA on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 12 noon with Rev. Dan Richter, pastor of the Marienville United Methodist Church, officiating. 

   Kirk Wayne Kessler, age 64, of Marienville, PA, died on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home in Marienville.  He was born in Kane, PA on October 21, 1954, son of the late Wayne Woodward and Naomi Mae (Rugh) Kessler.

   Kirk’s most precious treasure was his canine companion, Sparky.  He was previously employed by Abraxas in Marienville in the maintenance department, and for a few of the areas manufactured home companies including Ashland Homes of Shippenville, PA. 

   Kirk is survived by his son, Jason Wayne Lorenzo and his wife Lisa of Kane.  Two grandchildren.  A brother, Chris A. Kessler and his wife Carol of Aliquippa, PA.  His niece Heidi Kruger and her husband James; his nephew, Joshua Kessler; and his great niece Emma Kruger, all of North Carolina.  He is also survived by his best friend, Paul Leichtenberger of Marienville.

   There will be no public visitation.  Friends are welcome to attend graveside services on Monday, October 21, 2019 at noon at North Forest Cemetery in Marienville with Rev. Dan Richter, pastor of the Marienville United Methodist Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
