Kenneth G. "Buck" Beane Obituary

                Kenneth G. “Buck” Beane, age 75, of East Hickory, PA, died on Friday evening, October 19, 2018 at Warren Manor in Warren, PA.  He was born in Warren on April 30, 1943, son of the late John Gerald Monroe and Madeline Arlene (Beck) Beane.  He married his wife of six years, Cynthia L. (Vandenburg) Beane in Tionesta, PA on August 13, 2012.  She survives.

                Buck worked as a truck driver all his life and was a lifelong member of the Teamsters Union, where he served as a steward.  He will be forever remembered in the hearts of the people who cared for him for the many stories about his life and his distinctive laugh.  He will be dearly missed.

                In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara L. (Watson) Beane, who died December 30, 2007, as well as four sisters: Hop, Skip, Jack, and Loanne.

                Buck is survived by his wife, Cynthia L. (Vandenburg) Beane.  His daughter, Renee Fields of Ohio.  His stepdaughter, Heidi Thomas and her fiancé Greg Stilwell of Warren.  His stepson, Rusty Thomas and his wife Kris, also of Warren.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  His sister, Wilma E. “Wink” Altman and her husband Thomas R. of Endeavor, PA.  Several nieces and nephews. 

                No public visitation is planned.  All services held will be private.  Burial will be alongside his parents in Kiffer Hill Cemetery in Tionesta at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.

                Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA  22215.
