Kathleen T. Skoloda

   Kathleen T. Skoloda, age 91, of Tionesta, PA, passed peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Titusville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Titusville, PA after a brief illness.  She was born in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was the loving wife of the late John E. Skoloda.      

   Kathleen was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of St. Anthony’s R.C. Church.  She adored the serenity and comfort that nature brought to her doorstep while living in the Tionesta area.  She was also an avid gardener.  She had resided at the Country Acres Personal Care Home of Titusville for the past three years.  

   Surviving are a niece and nephew, Catherine E. and William Drayton of Levittown, PA, as well as several other nieces and nephews from the Pittsburgh area.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony’s R.C. Church in Tionesta at 11 am with Father Joseph Kalinowski celebrating the Mass.  Burial will be alongside her husband at Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, PA.  Messages of sympathy may be left at www.wimerfuneralhome.com
