My condolences to you and your families, Phil, Sam and Jan. Everell was one of the truest examples of a “gentleman farmer” whom I’ve known, and one of the most graceful men. When I think of Tom Brokaw’s “greatest generation” I think first of Everell as an individual who most precisely fulfilled that accolade.

Family and Friends of Everell Wagner,

May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

“Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14: 1 -3

God Bless and Keep You,

Lou, Susan and Bethany Slautterback

I was sorry to hear about the loss of Everell, as I have fond remembrances of him from my years in the community, in 4-H, and working at the bank. He always, always had a smile and kind words. He was a hard-working man of great faith, character, and integrity. My condolences and prayers go out to his family. "A sunset on Earth is a sunrise in Heaven."

Sam and Family,
After reading your father’s obituary I see the footstep that you obtained with many of the same character traits. A loss of a father leaves a hole, but you knowing that you will meet down road will give you comfort. May the Lord be with your family and you through this time. Don Walters

Phil, Jan. and Sam,
I am so sorry for your loss. Your Dad and your Mom were wonderful people! I have many, many, fond childhood memories of the time my family spent on the farm every summer with your family. My Mom (Marien Hauser) sends her condolences, too. You and your families are in thoughts and prayers.

Sam and family; Sympathies on the passing of your father. I have enjoyed many stories over the years from my father, Bruce Ziegler about farming and 4 H adventures involving your father and your family farm. One of Dad's favorite museum treasures is Everell's tractor. May memories and faith bring you comfort at this difficult time.

Thanks be to God for the memories I hold dear to my heart of a Godly man and his wife who I've known since the early 70's, unwavering, faithful, committed, and humble.
