Tammy J. Drake

Tammy J. Drake, age 51, of Trunkeyville, PA, formerly of Grand Valley, PA, passed away on Thursday morning, February 1, 2018 at her residence following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.  She was born in Corry, PA on July 23, 1966, daughter of Stanley J. and Joanne K. (Stufflebeam) Braswell of Grand Valley, who survive.

She worked as a mentor for Community Resources for Independence in Warren, PA for 13 years.  She enjoyed flowers and a quiet cup of coffee on her deck while watching the river, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her husband, Tommie Altman.  Two sons, James H. Berkhous and his fiancée Nicole Greenlee of West Hickory, PA and Travis W. Berkhous and his fiancée Johnelle Fulkman of Tidioute, PA.  Her daughter, Angelica J. Braswell of Trunkeyville.  Her stepdaughter, Desiree D. Beach of Erie, PA.  Seven grandchildren: Hailey Greenlee, Abby Worley, Alessandra Gutierrez, Charlotte Beach, Madison Berkhous, Cilix Downey, and Brielle Berkhous.  Two brothers, Thomas Braswell and his wife Pat of Corry and Todd Braswell of Grand Valley.  Her sister, Terri Novakovich and her significant other Jeff Powell of Corry.  Several nieces and nephews.

No public visitation is planned.  All services held will be private.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.

In lieu of flowers, Tammy’s family requests that you donate blood.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Center at Warren General Hospital, Two Crescent Park West, Warren, PA 16365.
