Michael H. Engleman

Michael H. Engleman, age 63, of Tionesta, PA, formerly of West Hickory, PA, died on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home in Tionesta.  He was born January 16, 1954 in Portsmouth, Virginia, son of Howard Engleman and his wife Mary who survive in Indiana, and the late Rosa Lee (Dulger) Engleman.  Michael was a veteran of Vietnam serving in both the US Navy and the US Army.  He was an avid sportsman, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are his wife of over 30 years, Mary L. Gillenwater.  Five sons, Billyjack and Perry Gillenwater, both of Tionesta; Ruben Gillenwater and his wife Misty of Pleasantville, PA; Joseph Gillenwater and his fiancé Holli Thomas of East Hickory, PA; Brian Engleman of Jacksonville, Florida.  Three daughters, Laura Divido of Tionesta; Caroleia Strandberg and her husband Gerald of Waynesboro, Virginia; Virginia Engleman of Jacksonville, Florida.  Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Three sisters, Bonnie Shelly and her husband George of York, PA; Donna Wolf, also of York; Judy Watson and her husband Randy of Texas.  Many nieces and nephews. 

There will be no public visitation. Friends are welcome to attend graveside services on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 1 P.M. at Mt. Collins Cemetery in Tionesta with Rev. Joanne C. Mlakar, Pastor of the Word of Grace Full Gospel Fellowship Church of Tionesta, officiating.  Full military rights will be accorded by the Titusville VFW Post #5958. 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home PO Box 389 Tionesta, PA 16353 to assist the family in funeral expenses.
