Dale E. Armagost

Dale E. Armagost, age 63, of Pleasantville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, March 26, 2017 at Titusville Area Hospital in Titusville, PA.  He was born in Brookville, PA on December 22, 1953, son of the late Donald H. Armagost and Geraldine (Mealy) Rumbaugh.

Dale served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He married his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” (Bourgeois) Armagost, on August 14, 1997 at the Nubble Lighthouse in York, ME.  The couple would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year.  Dale worked at Cyclops Steel Company in Titusville as a metallurgist for seventeen years.  While in Massachusetts, he worked as a steel inspector on various jobs in Boston and the surrounding area.  Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as riding ATVs and motorcycles.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Armagost.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Jackie, are his son, Andre Armagost and his wife Wendy of Massachusetts, and his stepdaughter, Katlyn Kline and her fiancé Eric Seaver, also of Massachusetts.  Two grandchildren, Simon and Olivia Armagost of Massachusetts, also survive, as well as his sister, Donna Graham and her husband Boke of Lickingville, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation.  All services held will be private.  The Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta has been entrusted with arrangements.
